Learning to FLY

This baby bird was rescued by my children from our cat. He was lost hopping around our garage. We set him up in our Dogwood attempting to keep him out of harms (Jasper's) way. He sat there for along time and then landed back on the ground and hopped under a bush. We took him and set him back in the tree hoping he would stay there until he could fly....he ended up back on the ground. The bright side is that we have not seen him as a gift on our front porch, so we are hoping for the best!......This seems like a story with a moral, right?! I thought so!
No matter how often we get ourselves in trouble (even when it's staring us in the face) God continues to scoop us up and put us out of harms way. Sometimes we learn, other times we...get eaten!
